Director Raj Mehta ensures that 'Good Newwz' stays true to its genre with quite a few light-hearted and funny moments although the pace of the film stays mostly tight.

The performances of all stars are top notch. Kareena Kapoor Khan steals the show and delivers a knock out performance as the classy Deepti, and her character’s heart touching arc is developed in a healthy way while Akshay Kumar hits the right spot with his perfect comic timing. Diljit Dosanjh, with his character  does justice with full enthusiasm. On the other hand  Kiara Advani is genuine and makes an impression with her innocent acting skills . Adil Hussain  in the role of doctor is a hoot.

At last 'Good Newwz' is a light and cheerful comedy and surely makes a good entertaining watch for moviegoers.
